Obituary

Kara L. Coppola Barnard, 41, lifelong resident of Ridley Park, died on March 12, 2015 at home. Born in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1991 and Beaver College, class of 1995. Kara was employed as secretary to the Dean at Widener University for three years. She previously worked at GSI Commerce in King of Prussia and the Sports Club.



Kara was a member of Christ Church Episcopal and volunteered with church activities. She was an avid reader and was very involved in the community. Kara volunteered for the Lakeview Home and School and was active with her sons' activities including the Nassau Swim Team and the Ridley High School Swim Team. She was a devoted mother and cherished every moment with her family.



Survivors: loving wife of 18 years to Mike Barnard; devoted mother of Sean Michael, Samuel Joseph & Steven Jay Barnard; daughter of Toni Caccamo Coppola, and John P. and Carol Coppola; sister of Krista Campisi (Salvatore, Sr. "Unk"), Dean Marino (Laura) and Dale Owens (Chris); daughter-in-law of Raffaele Barnard; sister-in-law of Julia Welc (Greg); and aunt of SalvatoreCampisi, Jr., Adrianna Campisi and Dylan Welc



Visitation: 6-9 PM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA



Burial Rite and Eucharist: 10 AM Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Christ Church Episcopal, 104 Nevin St., Ridley Park, PA 19078
