Kaliope "Peggy" Cokenakes Anastas, 90, of Swarthmore died November 5, 2017 at Rose Tree Place. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Argero Axiotes Cokenakes.

Peggy was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, the Daughters of Penelope and the Pholoptes Society. She was proud of her Greek heritage and her Orthodox faith, but most important was her loving family.

Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Demosthenes "Danny" Anastas, who died March 22, 1989; and her brothers, George Cokenakes and John Cokenakes.

Survivors: mother of Alex Anastas (Lois) and Michael Anastas (Nancy); grandmother of Erin Anastas, Megan Schanely, Daniel Anastas, Callie Anastas and Shannon Anastas; great grandmother of Kaya Anastas-Neal, Lucas Schanely and Noah Schanely; and, aunt to Micky Cokenakes, Rita Mangas, Sandy Cooker, Michael Cokenakes, Nikos Psarros and Alexandra Psarrou.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E Forge Rd, Media, PA 19063, where friends may call from 9:30-10:30 AM

Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ
