Junior N. Joseph, 39, of Lafayette Hill, died February 14, 2021 at his home. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, he was the son of Ursula Balfour Joseph and the late Neville Joseph. Junior resided in Brooklyn NY and Atlanta GA before moving to his late residence in 2018.
He was a graduate of Signal Hill Senior Comprehensive High School, class of 1998 and Long Island University. He was an avid soccer player. He played for both the Under 17 and 21 National teams of Trinidad and Tobago, before migrating to the USA on a soccer scholarship in the early 2000's. He began his college soccer career at Cleveland University before being recruited by Long Island University.
Junior was employed by DaVita Dialysis as a Technician for eight years. Junior's love for the most vulnerable made him excel as a Dialysis Technician and his patients loved him. Junior's activism and generosity showed up in his kind, gentle and humble spirit. Those that knew Junior, knew that he was the epitome of quiet strong confidence. His strength and confidence was grounded in his faith, instilled in him as a child in the Methodist. Throughout his life he remained active in the church in some way, most recently he sang in the choir at the church of St. James the Less, the chapel of St. James Episcopal School in Philadelphia PA.
He had a deep love for friends and family and he truly cared about people. He had the biggest heart and was full of life. In addition to soccer, photography and gardening were among his interests. He made an impact on his patients, teammates, friends, family and will be missed dearly.
Junior was the loving husband of Arlette Benoit Joseph, his wife of four years; brother of Anthony Joseph; also, survived by three nephews and one niece.
