Obituary

Julia A. Zappacosta, 91 formerly of Aston died on February 23,2024.  Born in Chester, the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Franceschini Abbruzzesi, she lived in Middletown Township and West Chester before moving to Aston in 1981.
Julia was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1950.  She started her career at Delaware County National Bank (now Wells Fargo Bank) as the Supervisor of Commercial Loan Department where she worked for 26 years before retiring in 1991.  Julia enjoyed cooking and baking and she was proud to keep her Italian traditions going for her family.
Julia was the loving wife of the late Robert K. Clark, Sr who died on January 31, 2012, mother of Stephen V. Zappacosta (Katherine) and the late Mark F. Zappacosta, step-mother of Christine Plucker, Constance Lehr, Robert K. Clark, Jr, and the late CynthiaAnn Sykes, sister of the late Helen Weber and Joseph Abbruzzezi, she is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Monday, March 4, 2024 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call 8:45 to 9:45 AM.  Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
