Juana M. Carney Dabkowski, 94, formerly of Aston died April 22, 2015 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Born in Linwood she was daughter of the late Joseph and Anastasia Keegan Carney.
She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph and had been employed as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager at F.W. Woolworth Variety Store in Chester for 21 years, retiring in 1983. Juana enjoyed reading, word puzzles and the Jersey Shore, but most important was her home and family.
She was wife of the late Chester V. Dabkowski who died September 6, 1999 after 57 years of marriage, mother of the late Robert W. Dabkowski who died on July 17, 2006 and sister of the late John, Joseph and Edward Carney, Winifred Hoagland and Nora Teuchert.
Survivors: her daughter Diane Schiavino and son-in-law Charles, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: 10 AM Friday, April 24, 2015 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd. Aston, PA 19014 where friends may call 9 to 9:45 AM.
Burial: St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery
