Joyce Hubert-Theriot 70, formerly of Upper Chichester, died on February 2, 2023.

She was born in Chester to the late William and Mary Ann Krizan Hubert.

Joyce was a High School teacher in the West Chester School District until her retirement in 2016.

She was a graduate of Notre Dame de Lourdes High School, attended Widener University for Biology, then joined the Peace Corps to study Fisheries and earned her Master's Degree in Education from Penn State University.

Joyce was a member of the Penn State Alumni and supported the Special Olympics.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Susan Husbands and William J. Hubert.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Paige Theriot and her brothers, Donald J. Hubert and James J. Hubert; also, three grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 10:30AM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342 where relatives and friends may call from 9:15 until 10:15AM. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery.
