Joyce B. Frazier

September 25, 1946 - July 19, 2026

Joyce B. Frazier (nee George), formerly of Southwest Philadelphia and later of Ridley Township, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at 79 years old.

Joyce’s proudest accomplishment was her family. She is survived by her beloved and only child, her son, Andrew MacDonald, who was the center of her life and his wife, Nicole (Valerio) of Long Neck, De.

She also leaves behind the lights of her life—her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Valerio of Havertown, Pennsylvania, and Gabrielle MacDonald of Long Neck, Delaware. Joyce adored them beyond measure and found endless happiness in watching them grow. She truly was the best Grandmom ever.

Joyce was also blessed with three beautiful great-grandchildren, Sophia, Izabella, and Andrew Jordan (“AJ”), who brought her immense pride, laughter, and unconditional love.

She is lovingly cherished by her sisters, Anita, Judy, Patty (Jim) , Theresa and Janice, whose lifelong bond and memories together will forever be cherished. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Dean George her brother, Dean, and her brother-in-law, Gene O’Brien.

Joyce will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. Her kindness, strength, and generous heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her. While her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family forever.

The family would like to thank the staff at Riddle Hospital for the exceptional care Joyce received throughout the past several months. Especially, her niece, Erin Monaghan (RN). 

Services and burial will be held privately.
