Josephine M. Herbst, 80, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 28, 2021. Very much like her Mother, she was a gentle person loved by everyone and she never spoke negatively about anyone.

Josephine spent all of her 80 years as a Aston resident and she was a lifelong member of St. Francis de Sales Church. After graduation from Notre Dame High School she was employed for 35 years as a secretary by Scott Paper Co.  She retired in 1994.  Josephine's hobbies included painting landscapes, crocheting, picture puzzles, traveling and especially spending time at a special place in Maryland.

She was the daughter of Clemens and Margaret Herbst, and is survived by her brother Clemens L., sister Martha; niece Wendy, nephews Stephen, Douglas and Christopher.

Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church 35 New Rd., Lenni, PA  19052 where friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Burial private.
