Joseph V. Seibert, Jr. 82, formerly of Essington, died February 17, 2012 at Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Media. Mr. Seibert was born in Philadelphia and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque R.C. Church. Joseph was a retired typesetter for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News and enjoyed music, but most important was being with his family.

He was husband of the late Bridget "Betty" Murphy Seibert who died in 1997 after 47 years of marriage was and son of the late Joseph V. and Marie Costello Seibert.

Survivors: father of Joanne Seibert, Mary Seljak, Jacqueline McMahon and Joseph Seibert, III, also survived by three grandchildren.

Liturgy Service: 10:30 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park

Visitation: after 9:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
