Joseph R. Miller, 91, of Limerick, formerly of Aston, died after a long courageous battle with cancer on November 26, 2016 with his grandson and his grandson's wife by his side. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Richard J. and Helen Dickerson Miller.

Joseph was a lifelong mechanic retired from John Gibbons & Blue Line Trucking.

He was the husband of the late Josephine E. Ritzel Miller, his wife of 65 years, who died in 2008 and father of the late Joseph R. Miller, Jr.

Joseph is survived by his grandson, Robert Horton and his wife, Melissa with whom he lived with for the past two years. He is also survived by a daughter, Pat, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild in West Virginia.

Graveside service 1:30PM Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to TriCounty Home Health and Hospice or Montgomery County Meals on Wheels. Both of these organizations provided great service to Joseph over the last two years.
