Joseph M. Mullen, 58, of Glen Mills died on July 30, 2023.  Born in Nashville, TN, he had lived in Ridley Park and Glenolden before moving to Glen Mills 10 years ago.
Joe was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1983 and then went on to attend Temple University.  He was employed as a driver at UPS for 34 years before retiring on June 1, 2023.  Joe was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed playing Rec Hockey.  Ocean City, NJ was Joe's happy place, but the most important thing in his life was time with his four sons, his family and friends.
He was the son of Kathleen Dunley Mullen Bonnes and the late George T. Mullen, father of Robert, Garrett, Owen and Quinn Mullen, brother of James P. Mullen, Kathleen Mullen Karlesses (George), Maureen Mullen Brown (Alan) and the late Sheila Marie Mullen, and was uncle of Alexandra and Michaela Karlesses, Declan, Rory, Aidan, Darby and Keely Brown.
Visitation 6-8 PM Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 4, 2023 at St. Cornelius R.C. Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317, burial will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
