Of Ridley Park, husband of Frances T. McCarthy (nee Millard). Father of Joseph G. McCarthy, Kathleen M. McCarthy Kivitiz (Ed), Mary E. Carpenter (Ben) and the late Gerald J. McCarthy, brother of William McCarthy and the late John McCarthy, Eileen Teta and Jean Van Pelt. Also survived by six grandchildren and two grandsons.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Avenue Ridley Park, visitation 7 to 9 PM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swathmore Avenue Ridley Park. Burial Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
