Joseph Charles Kereszi, Jr. passed away at home in Lester on February 1, 2018. He was 64 years old.
Born in 1953 in Chester to Joseph C. (Sr.) and Eloyse P. (Damicis) Kereszi, he was a well-known member of the local automotive and motorcycle community, and helped run the family business, Joe's Junk Yard in Trainer. He was a main subject of a book and documentary film about the junkyard.
He is survived by his partner Patricia Springer, his former spouse Linda Scott, his children, Lisa and Victoria, his grandchildren Hazel, Ottilie and Laurel, his partner's children Laura and James and grandchildren Cheyenne, Angeleina and Kailey, a sister, cousins, nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by both parents and two brothers.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park, PA where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial Eastlawn Cemetery.
