Joseph J. Gremminger, 83
Of Chester, died December 21, 2010 in Oakland Park, FL. Born in Chester, he was son of the late William and Annie Mulrine Gremminger.
Mr. Gremminger was a lifelong resident of Chester and attended St. James High School. He was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Church, formerly St. Robert's Church. He was employed as a florist at the French Bouquet in Aston retiring in 1995 and previously worked at the former Calloway Florist and Norwood Florist. He enjoyed traveling and gardening and always enjoyed his career as a flower designer.
Mr. Gremminger was brother of the late John E. Gremminger, Sr., James F. Gremminger, Mildred Glanfield and Helen Cohill, and uncle of the late John E. Gremminger, Jr. (Dolores), James Cohill (Margie) and John Cohill.
Survivors: Nephews, Edward J. Glanfield (Rose), William H. Gremminger (Kay) and John J. Glanfield (Dorothy), also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Wednesday at St. Katharine Drexel R.C. Church, 1920 Providence Avenue, Chester, PA 19013 where friends may call 9 to 9:45 AM.
