Joseph E. Garcia, 68, of Aston, died June 27, 2012 at home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Folsom before moving to his late residence 42 years ago.

Mr. Garcia was a Pharmacist at both the Rite Aid Pharmacy for 10 years until his retirement in 1998 and prior to that at Chester County Hospital.

He was a member of the Church of St. Joseph, the American Legion Post #926 in Aston, the Aston Library and the Chester Senior Center and was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Mr. Garcia was son of the late Salvatore A. and Theresa L. Ervalino Garcia and brother of the late Nancy Garcia Hutson.

Survivors; his wife of 43 years, Barbara A. Emerich Garcia; his children Angela Marie Garcia Long (C. Douglas), Joseph E. Garcia, Jr. and Lisa Garcia Cipriano, brothers Anthony and Salvatore Garcia; also grandchildren Sydney Lamoureux, Nadia Cipriano, Emily Long and Natale Long.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014 where friends may call after 9:00AM.

Burial private.
