Joseph T. Eichinger, Jr., 95 formerly of Aston died on July 12, 2024.  Born in Southwest Philadelphia, the son of the late Joseph and Victoria Wallowitch Eichinger, he lived in Aston for 65 year before moving to West  Berlin, NJ in 2019.
Joe attended St. James High School for Boys and West Catholic High School for Boys and was a proud veteran of the US Army.  Before retiring in 1996, he worked for the Penn Delco School District and had previously been employed as a Quality Control Inspector at Reynolds Metals.  Joe was a member of the Church of St. Joseph and the Aston Seniors, he also coached and was the President of the Sun Oil Little League for 17 years and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed attending all of the sporting events at Widener University.  Joe loved spending summers in Sea Isle City, NJ but most important was his love and devotion to his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was the loving husband of the late Joan A. (Reese) Eichinger, devoted father of Michael J. Eichinger (Jeanne), William J. Eichinger (Ruth), Jean M. Angerstein (Russell) and Joanne Bishop (Anne), brother of Philip Eichinger, Stan Eichinger, Cass McMenamy and the late Winnie Scrocca, cherished grandfather of Danielle (Dan), Michael (Mali), Jennifer (Russell), Jimmy (Jaime), Jason (Katie), Lyndsay (Chris), Jenna (Jon), Eric, Risa (Matt), Jaxon, Jeramiah and Jacob, great-grandfather of Bryan, Shane, Morgan, Rachel, Maisie, Frankie, Max, Beau, Matty, Archer, Ian, Morgan, Colin and Madison.
Funeral Liturgy 11 AM Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM.  Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
