Joseph T. Brescia, 68, of Folsom died January 12, 2017 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ralph J. and Mae Stella Brescia. Joseph resided in Darby for 40 years before moving to his late residence four months ago.

He was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School, class of 1966 and was employed by T.V. Guide for 40 years. Joseph also had worked for K-Mart, Rickels, Home Depot and Aramark. He was a former Boy Scout Leader, Troop 275 – Darby BVM and All Saints. Joseph volunteered with the Red Cross, enjoyed photography and loved working on the computer. He was an avid Phillies and Flyers fan.

Survivors: loving husband of Beverly J. Roberts Brescia, his wife of 42 years; father of Staci Brescia-Mayfield (Joshua); grandfather to Courtney L. Mayfield and Carl A. Mayfield; brother to Ralph J. Brescia, Jr. (Janet) and Joyce B. Binder (Ernie); also, many nieces and nephews.
