John J. Williams, 76, of Gap, died on August 8, 2021 at his home.  Born in Chester, to the late William G. and Margaret Cromer Williams, he lived in Eddystone for 35 years before moving to his late residence eight years ago.

He was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1962 and enjoyed watching golf, old movies and being with his family.

John was the loving husband of Edith Sweeney Williams; father of Carol Elison (John), Donna Kaeser (Bob) and Darlene Land (Joe); grandfather of John and Sean Elison, Bobbie, Lauren and Brooke Kaeser, Amber Lane and Justin Snyder (Jamie) who he raised as a son; great grandfather of L.J. Elison who is son of John and the late Alyssa McGinnis and Ari. Also survived by his niece Charlene Barbour who he raised like a daughter.

Funeral Service 12:00 Noon Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 11:00AM. Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
