John T. "Mike" Tuohey, III, 86 a lifelong resident of Aston died on June 13, 2024. Born in Darby, he was the son of the late John T., Jr. and Jennie S. Hunter Tuohey.
Mike was a graduate of Media High School and was a proud veteran of the US Army. He owned and operated J.T. Mike Tuohey Roofing and had previously worked at Scott Paper Company as a data processor, White Horse Village as a security guard and at the Lenni A.C. as a bartender. Mike was a member of American Legion Post #926 in Green Ridge and Aston Athletic Association. He had coached little league in the Aston-Middletown League and softball at Northley Middle School and was inducted in the Delco Sports and Aston Sports Halls of Fame for promoting youth sports. He was also an avid golfer, but most important was his family.
He was the father of John T., IV (Leona), Michael W., Philip A. and Kenneth L. (Trish) Tuohey, brother of Marian Balawejder, Joseph S., P. James, Donald J., Harry W. Touhey and the late Georgianna Talley, Dennis and Peter S. Tuohey, he is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and the mother of his children Carolyn A. "Kenny" LaChette Tuohey.
Visitation 6:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 9:30 to 10:30 AM Thursday June 20, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road Aston where a Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
