John T. Springer 78 of Aston, died January 28, 2022.

Born in Chester to the late Grover H. and Jane A. Smedley Springer, he has lived in Aston since 1995.

John was last employed as a heavy equipment operator and was owner of H & S Catering.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and Loyal Order of Moose.

John loved to cook and enjoyed working, fishing, boating, the computer and the San Francisco 49ers.

He was devoted to his family and loved his dog, Sabriana.

John was the loving husband to Mary Ann Petrone Springer, his wife of 18 years. He is also survived by his daughter Kimberly Shinock (Steve); stepson Mark Petrone (Cindy); his siblings Betty Donnelly, James Springer and Jane Simcox; his grandchildren, Brittany and Christopher Hall, step-grandchildren Victoria, Joseph and Jacob Petrone and great grandchildren Tyler and Giavonia; also, nieces and nephews.

John was predeceased by his brother, Francis Springer.

Funeral Liturgy 11:00AM Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd, Aston where relatives and friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial private.
