John J. Rody, 76, of Milmont Park died September 24, 2015 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was son of the late Joseph T. and Carmela Ciccarelli Rody.




John attended St. John Neumann and graduated from St. James High School, class of 1957. He served in the Army Reserves and was employed as a bus driver for the Chichester School District. John was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles, trips to the casinos, but most important was his devotion to his family.




He was predeceased by his wife, Lois E. Mertens Rody, who died August 23, 1999.




John was the father of John J., Jr., Michael T., and Debra L. Rody; brother of Janice Rody Hardy (James); and grandfather of Jessica (John), John, III, and Alexa.




Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 206 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033, where friends may call from 9:15-10:15 AM.
