John P. Raughter, Jr., 78 of Aston died February 24, 2015 at Kindred Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late John P. and Catherine Duffy Raughter, John was a resident of Aston for the past 44 years.

Mr. Raughter was a veteran of the US Army and was employed as an Assembler at General Motors in Wilmington for 30 years, retiring in 1985. He loved fishing, but most important was his home and family.

Survivors: brother of Ann Marie Raughter and Ann Devlin Flanagan (William) and their children Mara Catherine Flanagan and William W. Flanagan, IV, also cousins Charles Craig, Patrick Craig and many other cousins throughout the US and Ireland.

Funeral Mass: 11 AM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston 19014 where friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM.

Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
