1929-2015

John R. "Jack" Atherholt, 85 of Glen Mills died August 18, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Norwood, son of the late
William L. and Ida May Doll Atherholt, he lived in Aston for 42 years
prior to moving to his late residence 19 years ago.
Jack was a graduate of Glen-Nor High School, class of 1947 and was a
veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed as the Regional Vice
President of Fidelity Bank for 42 years, retiring February 1, 1992.
Jack was a member of Elam United Methodist Church and served on the
Residence Board at Fox Hill Farms, he previously served on numerous
boards in Delaware County communities.

He was husband of the late Alice Holmes Atherholt who died on May 11,
1998 after 44 years of marriage and was brother of the late William and
Robert Atherholt.

Survivors: devoted father of Keith D. Atherholt (Sharon), Barbara A.
Atherholt and Susan Atherholt Black (James), grandfather of Joshua
Black (Lindsey), Zachary Black, Lauren Piersol (Chad), Jordan Black
(Jen), Kierstin Siegal (Justin), Morgan Quinn and Christian John
Atherholt and brother of George Atherholt.

Funeral Service: 10 AM Saturday at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073
Smithbridge Rd., Glen Mills, PA where friends may call after 9 AM.
Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
