John L. Naugle, 92, of Ridley Park died on October 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Harrisburg, the son of the late Samuel J. and Stella B. Anderson Naugle, he lived in Eddystone before moving to Ridley Park in 1955.
John proudly served in the US Naval Reserves during the Korean War and was employed as a Technical Assistant at PECO Energy for 45 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of Ridley Park Presbyterian Church where he was an elder, served on the Finance Committee, and was a member of the Busy Bodies group. He was also a member of Penn Lodge 709, F. & A.M. and the Quater Century Club at PECO Energy. John was an avid golfer and member of the US Golf Association. He also enjoyed traveling and following the stock market.
John was grandfather of the late Merydth Lambert.
John was the loving husband of 72 years of Helen M. McGowan Naugle, father of John L. Naugle (Linda) and Janice Naugle-O'Shea (Walter), also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, October 28, 2022 at Ridley Park Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 10 AM. Burial Edgewood Memorial Park.
