John J. Karmanski, 79, of Aston, died on April 19, 2015 at the Neighborhood Hospice, loved and supported by his family. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late John J. and Marie (Marando) Karmanski. He was a resident of Aston for 25 years
John was the co-owner of Pristine Air Environment for 16 years and previously worked in construction. He loved working and restoring classic cars and tinkering with electronics. John was a spiritual man, a free thinker, independent and a great conversationalist who enjoyed sharing his views.
He was predeceased by his son, Joseph "Joey" Karmanski.
John is survived by his children: Laurie Smith (Bill), Sharon Fitzgerald (Drew), Amy Kokoles (John), John Karmanski and Judy Coughlin (Mike); And grandchildren Patricia Smith, Sophia Coughlin and Jacob Coughlin; also survived by his loving companion, Patricia Howard.
