Of Ridley Park, PA. Husband of Helen Volpe (nee Georges), father of James Volpe (Mary Ann), Stephanie Mattero (Jeffrey), Virginia Burtnick (Michael), John A. Volpe (Lisa) and the late Joseph Volpe (Kimberly). Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Saturday, October 25, 2009 at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Avenue, Ridley Park. Burial Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 9 PM Friday and 8:30 to 9:15 AM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park.
