John A. Hill, 83 of Upper Chichester died on November 10, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Upland and raised in Aston, he was the son of the late William and Caroline Guest Hill.  He lived in Aston and Fort Myers, FL before moving to Upper Chichester five years ago.

John was a graduate of Eddystone High School and Williamson Trade School and was employed as a Master Electrician at D.J. Gold Electric before retiring in 2006.  John hobbies included gardening, antiquing, fishing and hunting with this bow and arrow.  He also enjoyed horseracing and playing cards, but most important was his family.

He was the loving husband of Cora M. Nye Hill, devoted father of Sharon Jones (Robert), John A. Hill, Jr. (Debra), Melinda Grieski (Paul) and Corin Parker (Matt), brother of Gail Madison (Norman), Ruthann Geser, William D. Hill, Jr. (Janet), and the late Sara Jane Gay. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and was predeceased by a great-grandson Mason.

Funeral Service 10 AM Friday, November 15, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where relatives and friends may call after 9 AM.  Burial will follow in Philadelphia Memorial Park.
