John E. "Jack" Manuel, 83 died June 25, 2011 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Aston Mills, Mr. Manuel was a lifelong resident of Aston Township.
Mr. Manuel was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and was employed by John L. Blosenski Trash Removal for 10 years and previously worked for Aston Township. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, Lenni A.C. and VFW Bonaventure-Clark Post 6613. He enjoyed the casinos, horse racing and family holidays at his sister Joan's home.
He was son of the late John T. and Anna Russell Manuel and brother of the late Francis "Mort", James and Raymond Manuel, Patricia Anne Reeder and Anna L. Weber.
Survivors: father of Linda Harris of Chester, William Manuel of Philadelphia and John Laarz of Wilmington, DE. brother of Patrick Manuel of Boothwyn, Joyce Coppock of Dover, DE, Joan Gusler of Aston and Faye Manuel-Lombardo of Glenolden. Also survived by seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: 11 AM Thursday at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, 39 New Road, Lenni, PA 19052.
Visitation: 9 to 10:15 AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston
