John T. Bowers, 75 of Prospect Park, died January 24, 2013 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.
Born in Philadelphia, Jack lived in Ridley Park before moving to Prospect Park. He was a member of the Ridley Park Seniors and the Church of St. Madeline where he served as Sacristan for 20 years before retiring in 2008. He previously worked for Boeing Company.
Jack was son of the late Leon N. and Margaret M. Kelly Bowers-Scheu and brother of the late William Francis Bowers.
Survivors: his cousin Patricia Antonius and many friends.
Funeral Mass 10:00AM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 9:30AM. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
