It is with great sadness that the family of John S. Birtwell announces his passing after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the age of 71 years.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 18 years, Rosemarie Hunt and his daughter, Jill (Chris) Castner, by his 2 grandchildren, Ben and Max, by his nephew, Jeff(Christine)Leonard , cousins Ronnie Ersek and Amy Connell, and the extended Hunt Family. John was predeceased by his father Ralph, mother Leta Scott Birtwell.

John greatly appreciated his life long career as a Sales Manager for Luke Motors, Chester, Pa and Toyota Carousel, Glen Mills, Pa. He enjoyed sports, the beach but mostly time spent with his family and grandchildren.

A visitation in memory of John will be held from 9:00 to 11:00AM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078
