She was born in Philadelphia to the late Albert and Helen A. Huber Biester.

Joanne was a claims adjuster for General Asphalt Company in Philadelphia until her retirement in 2018.

Joanne was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, class of 1970.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, traveling, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.  Everybody loved Joanne and Joanne loved everybody. When she walked into a room, everyone would have a smile.

Joanne is survived her husband of eleven years, Dennis Lloyd; her stepchildren Casey Fox, Dennis Lloyd, Jr. (Melissa), Robert Lloyd (Heather) and Thomas Lloyd (Leigh); also, her brothers Thomas Biester (Bea), Dr. Robert Biester (Cindy) and Richard Biester (Elaine); five grandchildren; seven nephews and a special niece Lauren Biester.

Funeral Liturgy 11:00AM Monday, March 27, 2023 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial private.
