Joan M. Walker Kelley, 80 of Glen Mills, a devoted mother and grandmother, died April 4, 2013 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital.

Born in Ridley Park, she lived in the Swarthmorewood section of Ridley Township for 51years before moving to Glen Mills 10 years ago.

Joan previously worked at the Delaware County Courthouse in Voter Registration and then was a volunteer for many years at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Harold B. Kelley, her husband of 59 years, who died in 2011 and daughter of the late Lorenzo and Lena Howell Walker.


Survivors; her children Linda Papa (Ralph, Jr.), Stephen Kelley (Eleni), Patricia DiRusso (John) and Michael Kelley (Gene LaPierre); her grandchildren Ralph Papa, III (Candace), Mark Papa, Matthew Papa, Lisa Marie DiRusso, Joe DiRusso and Dimitri Papadopolos; great grandchildren Ralph Papa IV and Victoria Papa; her siblings Harold Walker and Thelma Burke.


Funeral Service 10:00AM Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston.

Visitation Tuesday 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday after 9AM at the funeral home.

Burial Edgewood Memorial Park.
