Obituary
Joan M. Haley (nee Hitchin), 92, of Aston died on January 15, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Harry and Alice Desmond Hitchin, she lived in Morton before moving to Aston 55 years ago.
Joan was a graduate of St. Leonard's Academy in Philadelphia and has been a longtime member of The Church of St. Joseph in Aston. Joan enjoyed playing the piano, bowling and playing cards with her friends but most important was time with her family.
She was wife of the late Allen J. Haley, mother of Helene Cline (Timothy), Allen J. Haley, Jr. (Bernadette), Janice Kruzienski (Walter), Monica Carrigg (Daniel), Sharon Filson (late Robert), Jerry Haley (Hal Saxby), Brian Haley (Darla) and the late baby Haley, Marianne Haley and Joanna Leeland (Richard Gommer), she is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren (also two on the way).
Funeral Mass 10 AM Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA where a visitation will take place from 8:45 to 9:45 AM. Burial private.
