Jessica "Jessie"C. Doyle Rodgers 90 of Woodlyn, died June 2, 2015 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Southwest Philadelphia before moving to her late residence 46 years ago.

Jessie was formerly a waitress at various restaurants in the area. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a Daily Communicant for 30 years.

She was also a member of the OLP Seniors. Jessie was an INDEPENDENT lady who enjoyed the outdoors, cross-stitching, traveling and cooking, but most important to her was being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jessie was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Joseph W. Rodgers who died in 2009, her son Joseph W. Rodgers, Jr, her parents James and Anna Harman Doyle; also her siblings Russell Doyle and Ann Haughey.

She is survived by her children Marie Powell (Jack) and Kevin "Buck" Rodgers (Patty); six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her grand dog.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park where friends may call after 9:00AM. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
