Jerry A. Gill 81 of Folcroft, died on March 3, 2022.
He was born in Boise, Idaho to the late Franklin O. and Eleanor V. Haener Gill.
Jerry was last employed at Monahan's Pub in Essington and previously worked for United Airlines and Ross Manor Nursing Home.
He was a graduate of St. Martin's High School in Olympia, Washington and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of The Church of St. Madeline and St. Rose of Lima R.C. Churches, the American Legions and VFW Post 4845 in Essington and the Ridley Park Athletic Club.
Jerry enjoyed playing cards and bowling on the Airport League at the Ridley Bowl.
He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Jerry is survived his children, Christine Brittingham (John), James Gill (Carol), Brian Gill (Stephanie) and Annemarie Green (Jim); his grandchildren, Kristin, Amy, Courtney, Julianna, Jamie, Christopher, Joshua and Rebecca; also, his former wife Anne Therese Gill.
Funeral Mass 10:30AM Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at The Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15AM.
Burial 10:30AM Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery
