Jerome H. "Jerry" Jacobs, 84, of Boothwyn died January 12, 2013 at Glen Mills Senior Living. Born in West Philadelphia, Mr. Jacobs lived in Berwyn prior to moving to his late residence four years ago.

Jerry was a graduate of Temple University and received a Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD from Columbia Pacific University. He was previously employed as an Administrator at Albert Einstein Community Mental Health Center and the Thomas Jefferson Community Mental Health Center. Jerry was a former member of the Mainline Unitarian Church. He played competitive tennis until the age of 80 and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, musicals and activities.

He was husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Hayman Jacobs who died July 25, 2012 after 56 years of marriage and brother of the late Alan Jacobs.

Survivors: father of Mark R. Jacobs (Leahanne), grandfather of Steven, Amanda and Meredith Jacobs.

Funeral Service and Burial: were held January 18, 2013 at Edgewood Memorial Park.
