Jeanne M. Ryan, 80, of Prospect Park died on September 13, 2016. Born and raised in Chester, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Sue L. McCafferty Ryan, and moved to her late residence in 1987.

Jeanne was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1953, where she played volleyball and was a member of the Music Appreciation Club. Jeanne was employed as a Lab Associate for A.I. DuPont, Chestnut Run Site, for 23 years before retiring in 1993. She previously worked for Abbotts, Inc. in Marcus Hook and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church and the Sodality. Jeanne lived faithfully, loved generously and desired to bring joy to others. She was loved immensely by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Schneider, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeanne was predeceased by her siblings, Elizabeth Hagen and William Ryan, and also by her good friend Tom Boyce.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022, where friends may call from 8:45-9:45 AM

Burial: Immaculate Heart Cemetery in Upper Chichester, PA
