1931-2019

Jean A. Covington Rifenburg, 87, of Oxford died January 5, 2019 at Jennersville Hospital. She was born in and resided in Boothwyn before moving to Oxford in 1991.

Jean was a graduate of Chichester High School, class of 1949 and was employed as a Unit Clerk at Paoli Hospital before retiring in 1992. She loved sewing and making quilts for her family.

She was daughter of the late Henry R. and Lillie Chance Covington, and was predeceased by seven siblings.

She is survived by her husband Orville L. Rifenburg, Jr., her children Douglas W. (Sally), Joseph S. (Pat), Ronald K. (Judy) and Dave Rifenburg and Alison Rifenburg Osborne, her sister Louise Greener; also 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service 1 PM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 12 noon. Burial private.
