Jean K. Palmer 98 of Garnet Valley died on February 12, 2022 at her home.
Born in Heilwood, PA she lived in Marcus Hook before moving to Garnet Valley in 1957.
She was last employed at McManus Construction and previously was a "Rosie the Riveter" at Baldwin, Lima, Hamilton Locomotive in Eddystone.
Jean was a graduate of Cambria High School, class of 1941 where she sang in the choir. She also volunteered at the St. Thomas Country Fair. Jean loved dancing at Redwood, cooking, playing pinochle and taught Line Dancing at Garnet Valley.
She was the wife of the late Aldine A. Palmer, her husband of 57 years, who died in 2001; mother of the late Pamela Kerfoot; daughter of the late Martin and Mary Skiba Koval and sister of the late Felix Koval, Joseph Koval, Caroline Koval, Wanda Trynovich, Theodore Koval and Valeria Porter.
Jean is survived by her daughters Colette Conner (Ken) and Linda Eichler (Joseph); her sister Elizabeth Ploskon; and also, her grandchildren Valerie Salinas, Stacey Zarro and Kenneth Conner; and great grandchildren Vince, Nick, Sophia, Olivia, Samantha, Isabella, Mackenzie and Brent.
Funeral Mass 10:30Am Saturday, February 19, 2022 at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA where relatives and friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15. Burial private.
