Janice P. Schiller (nee Brown), 89 of Ridley Park died on August 18, 2026 at her home. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (nee Brennan) Brown.
Janice was a graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic High School for Girls, class of 1955 and proudly worked as a Switchboard Operator at the Bell Telephone Company before leaving to start a family. She was a member of The Church of St. Madeline in Ridley Park and was an avid reader, with a passion for history. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and sons, making several trips across the United States, visiting family in California and historic sites along the way. The most important part of her life was her loving family, especially her grandson Daniel.
She was the loving wife of the late Louis E. Schiller, mother of Louis E. Schiller, Jr. (Diana) and Michael A. Schiller, grandmother of Daniel J. Schiller. She was the sister of the late Lois Coyle and Sandra Bernardino and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place from 9-10 AM on Monday, August 24, 2026 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where a Funeral Liturgy Service will follow at 10 AM. Burial private.
