Janette B. Machamer Smith 81 of Morton died peacefully on November 17, 2013 at her home surrounded by her children.

Born in Upland, she lived in Deltona, Florida before moving to her last residence 13 years ago.

Janette was a member of the Ridley Over 50 Club and was an avid reader and loved camping. Most important to her was her devotion to her children and grandchildren.

She was wife of the late Guy C. Smith, Sr., her husband of 26 years, who died in 1981 and daughter of the late Horace E. and Jane L. Jones Machamer.

Survivors: her children Guy C. Smith, Jr. (Elizabeth), Janice K. Smith (Dennis King) and Darlene A. Leach (William); her sister Patricia A. Shirey; grandchildren William and Jennifer Leach, Dylan and Ryan Smith, and Megan and Emily Wilson; also many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Service 10:00AM Friday, November 22,2013 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Visitation 7 to 9PM Thursday and after 9AM Friday. Burial Edgewood Memorial Park.
