Obituary

Jane M. Holefelder (nee Kaylor), 77 of Upper Chichester died on January 30, 2024 at her home.  Born in Chester, the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth Kelly Kaylor, she lived in the Village Green neighborhood of Aston before moving to Upper Chichester 55 years ago.
After raising her children Jane graduated from Widener University and then received a Master's Degree in Psychology from Immaculata University. She then became a Child and Family Psychologist/Therapist at Crozer Community Hospital for over 20 years before retiring in 2015.  Jane had previously been employed as a Service Coordinator for the Girls Scout.  She was a member of St. John Fisher R.C. Church where she served as a Eucharist Minister and taught religious education.  Jane also served in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and as Judge of elections for Upper Chichester Twp for 23 years, but will remembered most for her love and devotion to husband, children and grandchildren.
She was the wife of 59 years to James F. Holefelder, mother of Kelly Fairfield (Brad), Susan Bethard (Bill), Patty Artymowicz (Steve) and Jimmy Holefelder, sister of Paul G. and James Kaylor and grandmother of Billy and Sabrina Bethard and Vincent and Megan Artymowicz.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at St. John Fisher R.C. Church, 4225 Chichester Ave, Upper Chichester from 10:45 to 11:45 AM where a Funeral Mass will follow at 12 noon.  Burial private.
