Jane E. Carl Dobson, 89, of Aston died August 4, 2020 at Brinton Manor.  Born in Sunbury, PA, daughter of the late Jacob Lester and Alice May Lehman Carl, she had lived in Darby before moving to her late residence 58 years ago.

Jane was a graduate of Sunbury High School.  She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph where she served on the Ladies Guild.  Jane was a Cub Scout Pack Leader and also served as a commissioner for Boys Scouts of America for my years, she loved animals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Joseph A. Dobson who died on August 13, 2019, mother of the late David Dobson and sister of the late Ann Owens.

She is survived by her children; JoAnn Harley (John), Kathy Sturgill (late John), Joseph M. Dobson (Ann Marie) and Susan J. Dobson (David Horevay), also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
