James Panagiotis "Jimmy-Pete" Alexander, 22, of Middletown Twp. died April 4, 2016 at his home. Born in Upland, he was the son of James A. and Speroula P. "Roula" Fotiades Alexander.
Jimmy-Pete was a graduate of Penncrest High School, class of 2011, where he played on the varsity baseball team and enjoyed karate. Jimmy-Pete attended Widener University, Delaware County Community College and he was involved with the Future Business Leaders of America. Jimmy-Pete was employed at Vicky's Cold Cuts, Riddle Ale House and was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, where he was an altar boy, attended Greek School and was a member of Joy. Jimmy-Pete loved baseball, cars and was an avid sports fan.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Pete Fotiades
Jimmy-Pete is survived by his maternal grandmother, Paraskevoula "Vicky" Stavropoulos Fotiades; his paternal grandmother, Lucille Whitig Alexander; his aunt, Despo Fotiades Tatasciore (Marty); his uncle, George Fotiades; his cousins, Tara A. Tatasciore, Despina Tatasciore-Morroni (Anthony), Josephine Tatasciore, Morgan Paraskevoula Fotiades; second cousins, Joseph Martin Chambers, Julian Michael Walsh and his goddaughter, Alethea George Morroni.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2016 and after 10:00 AM Friday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E. Forge Road, Media, PA 19063 (Middletown Twp.)
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park
