James P. Jennings, 70 of Aston died on September 22, 2024. Born in Ridley Park, the son of the late James and Helen M. Galvin Jennings, he lived in Prospect Park before moving to Aston in 1994.
Jim was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1973 and before his retirement worked for many years at Boeing. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Phillies and always loved hanging by the pool and going to the beach. Jim collected Lionel Trains and enjoyed music and listening to his records, he also spent time watching movies, documentaries and studying military history.
He was the husband of the late Ann E. Stahelek Jennings who died on February 12, 2023 after 40 years of marriage, father of Monica Jenings and James P. Jennings, brother of Robert Jennings, John "Jack" Jennings and Kathy Ann McKee, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 2-6 PM at the Ballrooms at Boothwyn, 1405 Meetinghouse Rd., Upper Chichester, PA 19061.
Memorial gifts to the Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), 2700 Horizon Drive, Suite 120, King of Prussia, PA 19046 would be appreciated.
