Obituary

James W. (Jim) Gustin, Jr., 89, of Aston, died January 3rd, at his home.

Mr. Gustin was born in 1924, in Colwyn, Pennsylvania, to James and Mary (Childs) Gustin. He was the brother of the late Edwin C. Gustin of Colwyn.



Jim graduated from Darby High School. After graduation he joined the Army and served in World War II in China, Burma and India. He was a member of the MARS Task Force Mountain Artillery Association. Jim was a plumber with Speers Plumbing and Heating and was a member of Plumber Union Local 690 until retirement. He was a member of Holy Cross Church, the Knights of Columbus, The Artists Guild of Delaware County and American Legion Post 926 in Aston.




Jim was married for over forty years to Margaret M. (Peg) Gustin (nee Gabe) who passed away in 1995. He resided in Clifton Heights until moving to Aston in 2000. He was the father of the late Glenn R. Gustin.




He is survived by his sons James A. Gustin of Orofino, Idaho and Gary R. Gustin of Aston. He is also survived by his two granddaughters and nephews and nieces.




Interment will be private.
