Father of Margaret Rowan (John), James Desmond (Lisa), Michael Desmond (Suzanne), Mary Kate Capuano (Louis), Terence Desmond (Fiance Ilene Fox), David Desmond (Maureen), Alice Fletcher (Eric) and Sarah Spears (Mike). Brother of Judy Carey and Daniel P. Desmond. Grandfather of Jessica, Alyssa, Nikolas, Henry, Laura, Andrew, Ethan, John, Randi, Julia, Olivia and Lia.
Visitation 1:30 to 2:15 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park. Burial Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 401 Alderman Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903, designate "Haiti School" to benefit the new St. Michael School in Saltadere, Haiti.
