Obituary

James Joseph Cromley, 70, of Ridley Park, died December 17, 2013 at his summer home in Bowers Beach, DE. Born and raised in Philadelphia, son of the late Anthony T. and Ellen Margaret Jefferies Cromley, James had lived in Ridley Park for the past 12 years.

He was last employed as a Ramp Serviceman for American Airlines, retiring in 2002 and had previously been employed by TWA. James was a U.S. Army Veteran who served as a Medical Specialist during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers. James enjoyed boating, classic cars and trips to the Dover Downs Casino, but most important was time spent with his family.

Survivors: his daughter Patricia C. "Trish" Marra, siblings Thomas A. Cromley and Margaret "Peg" McKay, grandchildren Angela and Christian Marra, his fiancee' Lynn McCarty, also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11 AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial will be held at a later date.
