James T. Cooke, Jr., 88 of Ridley Township, passed away on June 12, 2025. Born in Chatham, VA, he was the son of late James T.  and Mary M. (Broomall) Cooke.

James was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1955, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a draftsman for Westinghouse, Boeing and as a business owner, Design Drafters, before retiring. James had many passions, including fishing, crabbing, cooking, camping, gardening, playing bridge, and spending time at the beach. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was the beloved husband of the late Wilma M. (Guise) Cooke; loving father of Daniel E. Cooke (Dana), Lynn Maslanka (Matthew), Jamie Cooke (Claudia) and Gary Cooke; and brother of the late Jean Randell. He was the proud grandfather of Melissa, Amanda, Justin, Michael (Elizabeth), Lauryn (Nate), Kayla, James, Giovanna, and Dante, and great-grandfather of Cadence, Gianna, Arianna, Carmelo, and Liam.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Liturgy 11 AM Tuesday July 1, 2025, at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, where visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
