James L. Bogan 75, of Smyrna, Delaware, formerly of Ridley Park and Philadelphia, died on August 21, 2016 at his home.
Born in Philadelphia, he has lived at his late residence for the past three years.
He formerly owned and operated The Package Store in Philadelphia and previously worked for The Philadelphia Bulletin.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of The Church of St. Madeline and the Knights of Columbus in Smyrna.
Jim was the husband of the late Geraldine "Gerry" Bogan, who died in 2013.
He is survived by his children; Paul Green (Theresa), Donald Green (Ilene), Michael Green (Diane), Vincent Green, Robert Green, Colleen Dwyer (Kevin) and the late Michael T. Bogan; also 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 10:00AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 9:00AM. Burial private.
